The pain of loss doesn’t fade when the sun rises.

For children and families grieving a parent, a sibling, or a life they once knew, the ache is real—not just a dream. But so is their hope. They dream of going back, of being whole, of living without the weight of grief.

With your support, the edges of their pain can be softened, and their dream of life after loss can be attainable.

“In my dream, my mother never left.”

I feel an odd crackling sensation under me. I wake up. My toddler brother has scattered an entire box’s worth of rice krispie on me. I groan, and will myself to open my eyes that are rapidly filling. She has been gone for a year now, it’s all me and my father.

I get up, my shoulders sagging, not sure which need to address first. So I settle on sobbing through the chore of cleaning up, getting dressed and combing my brother’s hair. As I settle into my day, I resolve to go through the motions, and maybe just dream again tonight.

Every dollar does something real.

Nourishment

Education

"Loss can pull a child out of the classroom. Focused support helps them catch up and rebuild confidence at their own pace."

Community

"Through peer support, kids learn they're not alone. Laughter, stories, and shared pain become part of the healing journey."
